Paramount+ plans to release the next phase of Paranormal Activity on streaming services before the end of the year.

‘Paranormal Activity 7’ will be released by Paramount+ towards the end of this year. Paranormal Activity is produced by Dreamworks and Paramount Pictures and is a small production that costs only $15,000. The studio released the film in 2009 and it turned out to be a gross of $193.4 million at the worldwide box office. This makes ‘Paranormal Activity 7’ get a new achievement in the horror genre film.

Paramount released 5 sequels at once, with ‘Paranormal Activity 2’, ‘Paranormal Activity 3’, and ‘Paranormal Activity 4’ being released respectively in October 2010, 2011, and 2012. his income range through the film ‘Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones’ which was released in January 2014. Unfortunately, all did not go as expected.

Not wanting to give up so easily, Paramount+ packaged it in such a way that they finally released ‘Paranormal Activity: The Ghost Dimension in 2015. Yes, again they haven’t achieved the revenue as before. Even so, Paramount+ continues to try to revive its previous achievements by announcing the cast for ‘Paranormal Activity 7’.

Reporting from THR, ‘Paranormal Activity 7’ will be finished before the end of 2021. Indeed, a release date has been set, but considering the history of previous achievements, the film could be aired in October on streaming services. This film became one of the famous films released by Paramount+. Paramount+ will release the film in stages starting with ‘Spongebob: Sponge on the Run’, ‘Infinite’, and continued by ‘Paranormal Activity 7′ at the end of the year.

CBS-Viacom has big plans for Paramount+, hoping it will make the show a must on viewers’ watch lists to be on par with competitors like Disney+ and HBO Max. This spring is filled with ‘A Quiet Place 2’, ‘Snake Eyes: GI Joe Origins’, and ‘Paw Patrol: The Movie’. All of them can be watched on streaming services after 45 days in theaters.

‘Paranormal Activity’ is not the only source of income the studio has in hopes of reaching a large audience. They even have ‘Flashdance’, ‘The Italian Job’, and ‘Love Story’ to make their newest series on streaming services.

‘Paranormal Activity’ is Paramount+’s first horror film achievement at the turn of 2010 and is a must-watch on Halloween. His victory coincided with the decline in the number of profits ‘Saw’ in 2009, and ‘Paranormal Activity’ had beat ‘Saw VI’ at the Box Office.

Because ‘Paranormal Activity’ succeeded in replacing ‘Saw’ as a mandatory Halloween spectacle, the following year, ‘Saw’ released its last series, ‘Saw 3D’. However, after the re-release of ‘Jigsaw’ in 2017 and the upcoming ‘Spiral: From The Book of Saw’, Lionsgate feels that ‘Saw’ is still considered a worthy spectacle. Meanwhile, Paramount considers that ‘Paranormal Activity’ has an interesting title that can invite the audience’s curiosity.

‘Paranormal Activity’ budgets also tend to be cheap, making them a lucrative investment for companies, as their unique titles can attract new audiences to the service. It’s interesting to see how ‘Paranormal Activity 7’ can compete with other popular films.
