Chased by Manchester United and Manchester City, Erling Haaland finally opened her voice

Borussia Dortmund superstar Erling Haaland opened her voice about rumors of her future. The player from Norway is widely reported to be in demand by Manchester United and Manchester City.

Erling Haaland insists there is no problem if Dortmund will not sell him in the summer of 2021.

The 20-year-old has scored 57 goals in 59 games for Dortmund. His slick record has made Haaland the target of European giants.

However, Dortmund has a weapon to defend Haaland after ensuring qualification for the Champions League next season. As is known, Haaland once hinted that he only wanted to play in a team that appeared in the Champions League.

Earlier this month, Dortmund’s chief executive, Hans-Joachim Watzke, said Haaland would remain a BVB player next year. Haaland admitted that he did not object to the club’s decision. He will let the club decide his future.

“Well, I have a contract for a few more years, so I respect my contract,” Erling Haaland told Norwegian television, NENT, as quoted by the Manchester Evening News, Friday (28/5/2021).

Champions League Big Fan
Haaland is known to have a release clause in his contract which starts in 2022. That clause will allow him to leave the club for 75 million euros in the summer of 2022.

After Borussia Dortmund confirmed a return to the Champions League and won the DFB Pokal earlier this month, Haaland is looking forward to more goals and trophies next season.

I think everyone knows that. It’s a relief to secure the ticket. It’s very important,” he said.

“I am a simple man. As I said before, when I score goals, I always chase the next goal. I have big dreams.”

“I just won my first big trophy and it’s a great feeling, so I want to win trophies again,” he added.

Premier League: Glazer Still Medit, Manchester United Fans Don’t Expect Expensive Players

The owner of Manchester United, The Glazers, is reportedly unlikely to disburse a large budget in the transfer market this summer. That means the Red Devils team hopes to get expensive players dashed.

After the defeat in the Europa League final against Villarreal, Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer spoke of the importance of adding to the squad ahead of the 2021/2022 campaign.

The Red Devils are believed to be interested in signing a center-forward, center-back, and right-sided forward during this summer’s transfer window.

However, according to The Mirror, the Glazer family is not ready to break the bank, even though United has secured a place in the Champions League for next season.

The 20-time Premier League champion continues to be linked with two-star players, namely Harry Kane of Tottenham Hotspur and Erling Braut Haaland of Borussia Dortmund.

Both will cost a lot of money. Kane is even priced at 200 million euros. Meanwhile, Haaland is likely to be available for more than 120 million euros.

In total, the number reaches more than 300 million pounds. That’s an absurd number for the American owner of Manchester United.
