Juventus vs AC Milan, Competition Towards the Champions League

The 35th week series of the Italian League 2020-2021 presents an interesting match between Juventus and AC Milan.

The Juventus vs AC Milan duel will be held at the Allianz Stadium, Sunday (9/5/2021) or Monday (10/5/2021) in the morning at 01.45 WIB.

Fabio Capello considers this to be a game of life and death for the two teams who are hunting for Champions League tickets next season.

According to the man who is the former coach of Juventus and AC Milan, whoever loses can fail to finish in the top four.

“Whoever loses will be eliminated,” said Fabio Capello, as quoted by the Italian Football.

“It’s not just about the table, I think the psychological impact of losing will be very heavy.”

“They are not in good form now, they are the two teams with the most difficulties. Losing this match will be a major blow,” said Fabio Capello.

Juventus and AC Milan are indeed competing to appear in the Champions League.

The Bianconeri, nicknamed Juventus, are now in third place in the Italian League standings with a collection of 69 points from 34 matches.

This amount is the same as that of AC Milan who followed in fourth.

Not only Juventus and AC Milan, Atalanta who perched in second place with 69 points also enlivened the hunt for Champions League tickets.

The position of the three teams above is not completely safe. Because, they are only two points away from Napoli, who ranks fifth with a record of 67 points.

Meanwhile, one Champions League ticket next season already belongs to Inter Milan, which is the champion of the Italian League 2020-2021.

This is the second meeting between Juventus and AC Milan in the Italian League this season.

Juventus won 3-1 in the previous match at AC Milan’s headquarters, the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium, last January.

Three of Juve’s winning goals at that time were scored by Federico Chiesa (2 goals) and Weston McKennie. The AC Milan goal was created through David Calabria.
