Juventus is still linked with Gianluigi Donnarumma . In order to get the AC Milan goalkeeper, Juventus are reportedly ready to release Wojciech Szczesny .
According to the Tuttosport report reported by the Italian Football , a number of Premier League and Bundesliga clubs were attracted to Szczesny. Juventus is also said to be ready to accommodate the offer for the Polish goalkeeper.
The sale of Szczesny is claimed to be able to help finance Juventus, whose income has decreased due to the pandemic. Szczesny is also the highest paid goalkeeper in Serie A, which is 6.5 million euros per year.
The report states that Juventus will consider releasing Szczesny if there is an offer worth 20 million euros or more. Szczesny himself is still under contract with Juventus until 2024.
Szczesny’s sales fund is expected to help Juventus’ efforts to bring Gianluigi Donnarumma to the Allianz Stadium. However, Tuttosport claims that Juventus must ensure qualification for the Champions League to convince Donnarumma.
Interestingly, Juventus and Milan will face each other in giornata 35 of the Italian League this weekend. The Juventus vs Milan match will be held at Allianz Stadium, Monday (10/5/2021) in the morning WIB.
Juventus and Milan are competing in the Italian League standings. The Bianconeri are third with 69 points from 34 matches, ahead of the Rossoneri who are fourth on the same number of points.
Donnarumma himself is facing question marks about his future at AC Milan. The contract will expire in June 2021 or this summer. That means Donnarumma can leave Milan for free at the end of this season.
However, Milan’s efforts to renew the 22-year-old goalkeeper’s contract have yet to pay off. Negotiations between Milan and Donnarumma are still tough.
AC Milan and Gianluigi Donnarumma have yet to agree on a new contract. The amount of a salary of 8 million euros per season plus the bonus offered by Milan has not been approved by the goalkeeper represented by Mino Raiola’s agent.
