Chelsea is reportedly starting to look for new players to strengthen the team for next season. The latest news says Thomas Tuchel, the team manager, is trying to hijack Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal.
In the transfer market this summer, Chelsea is believed to want to buy a new striker. Thomas Tuchel also wants to strengthen his attacking line which has not performed optimally this season.
So far there have been several top names linked with Chelsea, such as Harry Kane, Robert Lewandowski, and Erling Haaland. The Telegraph claims Chelsea now have other options
According to the report, Chelsea is interested in signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Arsenal. Tuchel is quite interested in recruiting Aubameyang to Stamford Bridge because it has been tested.
The Gabon striker has scored so many goals for Arsenal. Thomas Tuchel, who is very interested in bringing the striker to Chelsea, also knows exactly what Aubameyang is capable of because he has worked with him during his time at Borussia Dortmund.
The report claims Chelsea is interested in signing Aubameyang due to his affordable transfer fee. The Gunners striker’s contract was starting to run out.
Aubameyang can leave Arsenal for free in 2023. Reportedly Chelsea only needs to pay 35 million euros to Arsenal to bring Aubameyang into this transfer market.
Last season, Aubameyang’s performance was less than optimal with Arsenal. He only scored 15 goals and 4 assists in 39 appearances for the Gunners.
Arsenal back in the Europa League, Aubameyang apologizes to fans
Arsenal star Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has apologized to Gunners fans following last week’s failure in the Europa League semifinals.

Aubameyang admitted that he was upset about being eliminated in the semifinals of the Europa League.
“It’s been a difficult season for the fans and we want to give you something positive this season. I’m so sorry we couldn’t do it for you.”
